On behalf of the 1.8 million people who are served by Kentucky’s electric cooperatives, the 42 million co-op members across the country, and a very grateful commonwealth, we salute Senator Mitch McConnell as he announces his plans to retire from the U.S. Senate after an historic tenure.
Though Sen. McConnell’s contributions to our state and our co-op members are too numerous to list, we hope you take a few minutes to watch this biographical video produced in 2019 when he received our lifetime achievement award, the “Distinguished Rural Kentuckian.”
